IELTS Trainer

Location: ChennaiJob SummarySMART Training Resources India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a passionate and experienced IELTS Trainer to help students achieve their target IELTS band scores. The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills, in-depth knowledge of the IELTS examination, and the ability to deliver engaging classroom and online training sessions. The trainer will coach students in all four IELTS modules—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—and provide personalized guidance to improve their performance. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality IELTS training for Academic and General modules.Teach all four IELTS sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.Develop lesson plans, study materials, and practice exercises.Conduct mock tests and evaluate student performance.Provide constructive feedback and individual improvement plans.Train students on exam strategies, time management, and band score improvement techniques.Monitor student progress and maintain attendance and performance records.Stay updated with the latest IELTS exam patterns, scoring criteria, and teaching methodologies.Motivate students to achieve their desired IELTS band scores.Coordinate with the admissions and counseling team regarding student progress. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or any relevant discipline.IELTS certification with a high band score (preferred).TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.Minimum 2–5 years of experience in IELTS training or English language teaching.Strong knowledge of IELTS assessment criteria and exam formats. Required SkillsExcellent spoken and written English.Strong presentation and classroom management skills.Ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing techniques effectively.Good interpersonal and mentoring skills.Ability to handle students with different proficiency levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) is preferred.
