IFS Techno-functional Lead

As a trusted IT consulting partner, Dautom is supporting their strategic initiatives by connecting them with exceptional talent to drive business growth and transformation.About the Role :We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IFS Technical / Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, integration, rollout, and ongoing optimization of IFS ERP across our MEA operations.The role requires a strong combination of technical IFS expertise and functional understanding, with particular focus on Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Operations.The successful candidate will act as the regional IFS SME and implementation bridge between the ERP implementation team in Turkey and the local business teams across UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.You will work closely with the Turkey-based ERP implementation team, taking implementation direction and standards from the central team while translating business requirements from the local entities into practical IFS solutions.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can move comfortably between business process discussions, IFS configuration, technical troubleshooting, integrations, data, testing, and user support.Role Details : IFS Technical / Functional Consultant – Finance, SCM & OperationsJob Location : Dubai , UAEKey Responsibilities :1. IFS Implementation & RolloutSupport the implementation and rollout of IFS across Finance, SCM, and Operations.Act as the local/regional IFS SME for the MEA business units.Work under the direction of the central ERP implementation team in Turkey and ensure alignment with the global implementation roadmap, standards, and architecture.2. FinanceSupport the implementation and optimization of IFS Finance processes, including:General Ledger and Chart of AccountsAccounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableCash ManagementFixed AssetsCost Accounting3. Supply Chain ManagementSupport IFS SCM implementation and process optimization covering areas such as:Procurement and purchasingSupplier managementInventory and stock managementWarehousing4. OperationsSupport the implementation of IFS within operational business processes, including where applicable:Project and operational managementWork ordersMaintenance and service managementResource planning5. Technical IFS ResponsibilitiesConfigure and maintain IFS modules based on approved business requirements.Support IFS technical architecture and environment management in coordination with the central ERP team.Troubleshoot functional and technical issues within IFS.Investigate system errors, integration failures, workflow issues, and data inconsistencies.Support IFS integrations with other enterprise applications.6. Business Process & Stakeholder ManagementWork directly with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and other business stakeholders across MEA.Conduct workshops to understand current ("As-Is") processes and define future ("To-Be") processes.Challenge inefficient processes and recommend opportunities for standardization and automation.Testing & Change ManagementPrepare and coordinate functional and technical test scenarios.Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing.Coordinate UAT activities with local business users.Regional Support & GovernanceProvide IFS support across UAE, Qatar, Oman, and KSA.Coordinate with local IT and business teams to resolve IFS-related issues.Maintain a structured backlog of IFS enhancements, issues, and change requests.Ensure changes follow the agreed ERP governance and change management processes.Required :Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with IFS ERP, preferably IFS Cloud.Good understanding of IFS architecture, configuration, modules, and integrations.Experience with IFS Finance, SCM, and/or Operations modules.Understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP web services, integrations, and enterprise application interfaces.Experience with data migration and data validation.Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.Experience with reporting, dashboards, queries, and data extraction.Understanding of workflows, approvals, automation, and system configuration.Ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical IFS issues.Experience working with ERP integrations and third-party applications.Functional SkillsStrong understanding of at least two of the following areas, with exposure to all three preferred:FinanceSupply Chain / ProcurementOperations / Projects / MaintenanceThe candidate should understand the relationship between business processes and ERP transactions rather than focusing solely on individual modules.Experience & Qualifications5+ years of experience working with IFS ERP or a comparable enterprise ERP platform.Strong preference for candidates with hands-on IFS implementation and rollout experience.Experience in IFS Cloud is highly desirable.Experience supporting multi-country or multi-entity ERP implementations is preferred.Experience working with geographically distributed business teams is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.IFS certifications would be an advantage.Key CompetenciesWe are looking for someone who is:Technically hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting systems independently.Functionally strong and able to understand business processes.A good communicator who can speak effectively with both IT and business stakeholders.Comfortable working across multiple countries and cultures.Able to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.Structured and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.Comfortable working in a matrix environment with a central ERP team.Proactive in identifying process improvement and automation opportunities.Capable of managing multiple priorities and working towards implementation deadlines.Willing to travel within MEA when required.For more details, please drop a message : moumita.p@dautom.com
