The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IGCSE and A Levels accountancy syllabi, ensuring that learners understand key accounting concepts, principles, and practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assigning and assessing work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves supporting learners in exam preparation, conducting revision sessions, and using appropriate teaching resources and methods to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will also participate in school meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and collaborate with colleagues and parents or guardians to support student progress.Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in accountancy at IGCSE and A Levels, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately.Experience teaching or tutoring students in secondary or senior secondary levels, preferably in IGCSE or A Levels curricula.Relevant academic qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a teaching certification or education degree is an advantage.Effective classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with varied instructional strategies and learner-centered approaches.Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment design, and use of educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work constructively with students, colleagues, and families.Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and alignment with the school’s academic and behavioral standards.Ability to work on-site in Imphal and participate fully in the school timetable, activities, and institutional responsibilities.
