The Aalam International SchoolLocation: Kalapatti, CoimbatoreWorking Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday & some SaturdaysWe are looking for an experienced and engaging IGCSE First Language English Teacher to work with our secondary students.The Role- Teach Cambridge IGCSE First Language English- Develop strong skills in reading, writing, comprehension and communication- Encourage thoughtful discussion, independent thinking and confident expression- Build students' interest in literature, language and writing- Plan engaging lessons suited to different learning needs- Assess student work, give meaningful feedback and track progress- Prepare students effectively for Cambridge assessments and examinations- Work collaboratively with teachers, mentors and parentsWhat We Are Looking For- Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience- Master's degree in English / English Literature preferred- IGCSE or Cambridge teaching experience preferred- Excellent spoken and written English- Strong subject knowledge and interest in literature- Warm, respectful and patient approach towards adolescents- Willingness to learn, adapt and work collaborativelyAbout AalamThe Aalam is an alternative school in Coimbatore.
