IGCSE Physics Faculty – The Mentor Academy, MumbaiThe Mentor Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced Physics teacher to join our faculty for IGCSE students at our Mumbai centre.We are an education-focused institution built around structured, exam-oriented teaching and small batch sizes, allowing for individual attention to each student. We place considerable emphasis on subject foundations and conceptual clarity, rather than rote preparation, and we are looking for a faculty member who shares this approach.Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering IGCSE Physics lessons covering both Core and Extended syllabi, conducting classroom demonstrations and problem-solving sessions, and preparing assignments and assessments aligned with the curriculum. The role also involves evaluating student work, maintaining accurate academic records, monitoring student progress, and providing structured exam preparation support. Close coordination with fellow faculty members will be required to maintain consistency in teaching standards across the academy.Candidate RequirementsSound knowledge of the IGCSE Physics syllabus, including Core and Extended topics and examination patternsDemonstrated classroom teaching experience, preferably within an IGCSE or similar international curriculumProven ability to develop structured lesson plans, practice materials, and assessmentsStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to students of varying ability levelsWorking familiarity with basic educational technology and digital teaching resourcesA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a closely related discipline from a recognized institutionA patient, student-centric approach with a genuine commitment to academic integrity and student outcomes
