Maarif plays a key role in advancing the K–12 sector in alignment with Vision 2030 and currently operates 13 campuses with 74 schools for girls and boys, serving around 20,000 students and employing more than 2,200 staff members.Role Description The IGCSE Physics Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging IGCSE Physics lessons that meet curriculum standards and support diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing individualized feedback, and maintaining accurate records of achievement. The role involves creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment, integrating practical experiments and demonstrations, and collaborating with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives. The teacher will participate in departmental meetings, exam preparation, professional development activities, and communication with parents or guardians to support student success.Qualifications Strong subject knowledge in Physics and Physics Education, with experience teaching IGCSE or similar international curricula.Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including differentiated instruction, assessment design, and curriculum alignment.Solid foundation in Mathematics to support physics instruction and problem-solving activities.Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, student engagement, and use of varied instructional strategies.Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification or equivalent qualification preferred.Experience teaching middle or high school students in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage.Ability to use educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning and assessment.Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-centered education.
