IIT JEE Residential Academic Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and high-achieving IIT Mentor to reside on campus and support our intensive JEE Repeaters Batch. In this role, you will act as a academic strategist, problem-solving facilitator, and personal guide to help students navigate the high-stakes pressure of dropping a year for JEE Advanced.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Guidance & Doubt Resolution: Conduct daily doubt-clearing sessions, assist with complex problem sets, and reinforce fundamental concepts in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics.Residential & Study Hall Mentorship: Supervised night study hours in the hostel, ensuring an environment of focused discipline and high academic productivity.Test Performance Analysis: Review periodic test scores with students 1-on-1, analyze weak areas, and build personalized improvement roadmaps.Motivation & Stress Management: Serve as a constant source of encouragement, helping students manage exam burnout, anxiety, and maintaining high morale throughout the repeater year.Strategy & Strategy Workshops: Share personal exam-taking strategies, time-management tactics, and question-selection frameworks for JEE Main & Advanced.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: B.Tech / Dual Degree / Integrated M.Sc Exam Achievement: Candidates who have experience appearing for JEE will be given highest priority.Residence: Mandatory on-campus/hostel accommodation provided by Rays.Skills: Deep conceptual clarity, strong interpersonal skills, high empathy, and a passion for mentoring competitive exam aspirants.Prior Experience: Experience in teaching, peer-mentoring, or student leadership during college is an added advantage, though fresh graduates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply.Perks & OfferingsFree full-time residential lodging and mess/dining facilities on campus.Opportunity to shape the future of top rankers and work closely with an established academic leadership network.
