We are a high-performance team, and we are growing.THE ROLEWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Field Implementation Engineer to lead the on-site delivery, deployment, and installation of enterprise infrastructure — servers, storage, networking, and campus networking — across our customers' data centers and sites in the UAE and the wider region.This is a delivery-focused (post-sales) role for an engineer who thrives on-site, owns implementations end to end, and takes pride in clean, well-documented builds. You will occasionally support our pre-sales team as well — proof-of-concepts (POCs), sizing, and solution validation — but the core of the role is getting technology deployed, integrated, and running in the field.WHAT YOU'LL DOOn-site delivery & deployment (core):• Install, rack, stack, cable, and commission servers, storage arrays, and network equipment at customer data centers and sites.• Own end-to-end deployment — from physical install and firmware/BIOS, through OS/hypervisor, configuration, and integration, to testing and customer handover.• Execute technology refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and cutovers with minimal disruption, including planned maintenance windows and occasional out-of-hours work.• Perform structured cabling, labeling, cable management, and cabinet/rack layout, and produce accurate as-built documentation.Storage:• Install and configure SAN, NAS, unified, and hyperconverged (HCI) storage platforms.• Provision volumes/LUNs; configure zoning, replication, and snapshots; and perform data migrations.Compute & virtualization:• Deploy rack and blade servers; configure BIOS/firmware, RAID, and out-of-band management.• Build and configure Windows and Linux operating systems and virtualization (VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V).Networking & campus:• Install and configure switches, routers, and firewalls across LAN/WAN environments.• Configure VLANs, routing, and link aggregation, and deploy campus networking (access / distribution / core); wireless where required.Testing, documentation & handover:• Conduct functional testing, performance validation, health checks, and acceptance sign-off with the customer.• Produce low-level designs (LLDs), implementation plans, runbooks, and as-built documentation; deliver knowledge transfer to customer and operations teams.Support & pre-sales assist:• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; manage vendor support and RMA cases through to closure.• Support pre-sales when needed: POCs, demos, sizing, bill-of-materials validation, and site surveys.• Represent Condo Protego professionally on-site and collaborate with project managers, pre-sales architects, account teams, and vendor engineers.WHAT YOU'LL BRING• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering and deploying enterprise infrastructure — ideally with a systems integrator, VAR, OEM/vendor, or large enterprise IT environment.• Strong hands-on capability across at least two of the following, with solid working knowledge of all: enterprise storage, servers/compute, virtualization, and networking.• Storage: SAN/NAS/unified and/or HCI platforms, zoning, replication, and data migrations.• Compute/virtualization: x86 servers, RAID, VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V, Windows and Linux.• Networking: switching and routing, VLANs, LAN/WAN, firewalls, structured cabling, and campus networking (access/distribution/core); wireless a plus.• Solid understanding of data center standards, cabling, power/cooling, and deployment best practices.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with excellent documentation and technical-writing ability (LLDs, as-builts, runbooks).• Excellent customer-facing communication in English (Arabic an advantage).• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UAE and region, and flexibility for maintenance windows / out-of-hours work.• Valid UAE driving license (or the ability to obtain one).CERTIFICATIONS• We value hands-on delivery skills first — the core of this role is vendor-neutral.
