Import & Export Team Leader

A leading company is seeking an experienced Import & Export Manager to lead and manage all international trade and logistics activities, including import/export operations, container handling, and transportation.About the RoleThe Import & Export Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of international trade and logistics, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Import, Export & Transportation teamOwn end-to-end import & export processes, including container logistics and customs clearanceCoordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and regulatory authoritiesEnsure compliance with customs, regulatory, and safety requirementsManage shipping documentation (Invoices, BLs, Certificates of Origin, etc.)Optimize logistics processes, timelines, and costsHandle exceptions, delays, and operational issuesWork closely with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Planning, Finance)Qualifications5+ years of experience in Import & Export management – mandatoryHigh level of English – mandatoryProven experience with international freight, customs, and regulationsTeam management experience – advantageBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field – advantageRequired SkillsStrong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentTeam management experience
