This role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring import shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and timely Customs entry writing. The Import Coordinator communicates daily with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and maintain service standards. Responsibilities include organizing air, ocean and border crossing import files, tracking cargo, verifying compliance with import regulations, and assisting with billing and data entry. The role requires attention to detail, timely follow-up, and a commitment to delivering a professional and market leading customer experience.QualificationsStrong customer-facing skills, including Communication and Customer Service, with the ability to manage inquiries and provide clear shipment updatesKnowledge of import operations, including Entry WritingProficiency with Descartes (preferred) and MS Office software.Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlinesPrior experience in international logistics and freight forwarding is preferred.Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role / context
