Employment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Air Import / Inland Coordinator to manage air import and domestic truck shipments from origin through final delivery.

This position ensures shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with customs regulations and company requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate air import shipments from booking through customs clearance and final deliveryArrange domestic trucking and inland deliveriesCommunicate with overseas agents, air carriers, customs brokers, truckers, terminals, and customersProvide customers with timely shipment updates and resolve operational issuesPrepare and review MAWBs, HAWBs, arrival notices, customs documents, delivery orders, and other shipping documentationFile eManifests through the CBSA portalCoordinate customs clearance and prepare PARS documentationProactively track shipments and manage delays, holds, inspections, and other exceptionsEnter and maintain accurate shipment information in the company’s operating systemMonitor shipment milestones and transportation costsEnsure files are billed accurately and closed promptlyObtain and maintain proof of delivery documentationWork closely with the sales and accounting teams to provide a positive customer experienceProvide operational coverage during the absence of other team membersIdeal CandidateThe successful candidate will have two to three years of freight-forwarding or import experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and organizational skills. They must be comfortable managing multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Education and ExperienceMinimum two years of experience in a freight-forwarding environmentEducation in supply chain, logistics, international transportation, or a related field is preferredCIFFA certification is considered an assetDangerous Goods certification is considered an assetTechnical and Language SkillsStrong written and verbal English communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficePrevious experience using freight-forwarding or logistics operating systemsExperience using the CBSA portal and filing eManifestsRequired Document KnowledgeMaster Air Waybills (MAWB)House Air Waybills (HAWB)PARS documentationCommercial invoicesPacking listsArrival notices and documentationDelivery ordersProof of Delivery (POD)Shipment-related correspondenceRegular business hours apply; however, occasional work outside standard hours may be required based on operational needs.Our client is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
