Apply & track with Apply EdgeBased in Bangpoo, Samut PrakarnWorking Hours: 7:40 - 16:40 (Mon - Fri)Employment Type: Full-timeRole & Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Operations ManagementDevelop and execute logistics and import/export strategies aligned with business objectives.Lead departmental planning, budgeting, and operational improvement initiatives.Monitor logistics performance and implement measures to improve efficiency, service quality, and productivity.Import & Export ManagementOversee all import and export activities to ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.Manage customs clearance processes and ensure timely shipment delivery.Identify and resolve import/export issues, minimizing operational risks and business disruptions.Freight & Logistics ManagementLead freight sourcing, negotiations, and bidding activities for land, sea, and air transportation.Establish and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and logistics service providers.Evaluate logistics partner performance and drive continuous improvement.Cost & Productivity ControlMonitor and control logistics costs, including freight charges, customs-related expenses, and abnormal operational costs.Develop cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality and delivery performance.Improve departmental productivity and optimize resource utilization.Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage a team of logistics and import/export professionals.Oversee workforce planning, attendance management, performance evaluations, and employee development.Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build high-performance capabilities.Conduct training programs to strengthen logistics and trade compliance knowledge.Qualification:EducationMaster's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in Import/Export, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related functions.Proven management experience in logistics operations and international trade.Experience in multinational manufacturing environments is preferred.Technical Knowledge & SkillsStrong expertise in import/export operations, logistics management, and customs procedures.In-depth knowledge of global trade regulations, customs requirements, and international shipping practices.Experience managing freight forwarding and shipping service providers.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.CertificationsProfessional certifications or licenses related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs, or International Trade are an advantage.Language RequirementsChinese: Business-level proficiency (required).English: Conversational to Business level.*only shortlisted candidate will be contacted by SEA - TA team*
