Import/Export CoordinatorJob DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Import/Export Specialist to join the team in a full-time, on-site position in Moonachie, NJ. This role will be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments, managing documentation, supporting customers, and ensuring compliance with applicable trade and transportation regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage import and export documentation and shipment processes.Coordinate domestic and international shipments from initiation through completion.Ensure accurate and timely processing of import/export documentation.Provide excellent customer service and serve as a key point of contact for customers.Ensure shipments comply with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding shipment status and documentation.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments.Effectively manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsMust have hands-on Import/Export experience working for an NVOCC.Strong knowledge of import and export operations and documentation.Customer service experience within the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or supply chain management is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHSA – 100% employer-paid, plus $1,000 employer contribution$25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) CoverageLong-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance – 60% of current base payShort-Term Disability (STD) Insurance – 85% of current base pay$25,000 Life Insurance Coverage401(k) Plan with annual profit-sharing program, if eligiblePaid Time Off (PTO)
