The Import Export Specialist will manage end-to-end import and export operations for electrical products, including coordination with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies, and tracking shipments to secure timely delivery. The role involves working closely with the sales and procurement teams to support competitive pricing and reliable supply, maintaining accurate records of international transactions, and resolving any issues related to customs clearance or transportation. The specialist will also monitor market trends in international trade and suggest improvements for processes and cost-efficiency.Qualifications Strong knowledge of international trade, including Import, Export, and Import Export operations.Experience or familiarity with Customs Brokerage and related documentation and processes.Understanding of International Trade regulations, trade terms (Incoterms), and compliance requirements.Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or export-import operations, preferably in the electrical or industrial goods sector.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or inventory management systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in Chennai and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
