Our gear is designed by players, for playersWho We Are Looking For:We are currently seeking a Logistics and Traffic Import Manager to work at our New Jersey Office. You are responsible to be proactive on the visibility into transportation and logistics risks, rather than simply reacting to shipment issues. The role should continuously identify opportunities to improve delivery reliability, reduce logistics costs, strengthen carrier performance, and create a more responsive supply chain. A successful candidate will balance service, speed, cost, compliance, and operational reliability while supporting the company's manufacturing and customer-delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
§ End-to-End Logistics Management: managing the end-to-end flow of inbound and outbound shipments. Monitoring shipment status and proactively resolve delays, shortages, damages, and delivery. § Traffic and Transportation Management: manage domestic and international transportation by ocean, air, truck, rail, courier, and other modes as appropriate. Negotiate freight rates, transportation contracts, accessorial charges, and service agreements. Manage expedited transportation when required to protect production schedules or customer deliveries; select the most appropriate transportation mode based on cost, urgency, product requirements, and customer commitments.§ International Logistics & Trade Compliance: work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely customs clearance other logistics issues and costs. Identify opportunities to improve international freight flows, consolidation, and landed cost. Ensure logistics partners comply with company standards and operating requirements§ Finished Goods Distribution: Coordinate the movement of finished goods from manufacturing facilities to warehouses, distribution centers, retailers, e-commerce operations, and other customers. ensure shipments are delivered according to customer routing guides, shipping requirements, and agreed delivery windows. Manage transportation requirements associated with wholesale, retail, e-commerce, teamwear, promotional, and other customer channels.§ Key Performance Indicators (KPI)Performance will be measured through a combination of service, cost, and operational metrics, including:Ø On-time shipment and delivery performanceØ Freight cost per unit / shipmentØ Transportation cost versus budgetØ Inbound material delivery performanceØ Production-related logistics disruptionsØ Customer delivery performanceØ Carrier on-time performanceØ Freight claims, damages, and lossØ Expedited freight spendØ Shipment consolidation/utilizationØ Inventory and shipment visibilityØ Logistics productivity and process efficiencySkills and Requirements:Ø Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or a related field preferred.Ø 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, traffic, or supply chain management.Ø Experience managing both inbound and outbound transportation.Ø Experience with domestic and international freight operations.Ø Experience working with freight carriers, forwarders, customs brokers, and/or 3PL providers.Ø Strong knowledge of transportation planning, freight costing, shipment documentation, and logistics processes.Ø Experience supporting a manufacturing, apparel, footwear, consumer-products, or similarly time-sensitive supply chain preferred.Ø Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ø Proficiency with ERP, transportation management, warehouse management, and/or supply-chain systems.Ø Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.If you see yourself as our newest team member, please submit your resume and salary requirements.
