Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleSEE Engineering is seeking an experienced IMS Lead Auditor to join our QHSE – IMS department. The role is responsible for strengthening the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) governance, compliance, and continual improvement by planning and conducting internal audits, monitoring compliance with ISO and applicable regulatory requirements, identifying gaps, and driving timely corrective actions across departments and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the annual internal audit programme covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.Plan, conduct, and report on internal audits across departments, functions, and project sites.Monitor compliance with the IMS, ISO standards, and applicable UAE legal and regulatory requirements.Identify non-conformities, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and present findings clearly to process owners and management.Support process owners in root cause analysis and the development of effective corrective and preventive actions.Track corrective actions through to closure and verify their effectiveness.Support audit readiness for external certification, surveillance, and client audits.Prepare inputs and reports for management review meetings.Support risk-based thinking, including the review of risk and opportunity registers, aspect and impact assessments, and hazard identification and risk assessments.Review and support the maintenance of IMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and forms.Promote IMS awareness and provide training to staff on audit requirements and system implementation.Contribute to the continual improvement and effective implementation of the Integrated Management System.Required Skills and AbilitiesIn-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements and their integration.Strong auditing skills, including audit planning, evidence gathering, objective evaluation, and reporting.Sound understanding of compliance monitoring, risk management, and corrective action processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with management, project teams, and site staff.Integrity, independence, and professional judgment.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines.Education and ExperienceDegree or diploma in Engineering, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety, or a related field.Certified IMS Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (mandatory).8 to 10 years of IMS or QHSE experience, including ISO audits, compliance, risk management, and corrective actions.Experience in the construction industry is preferred.Preferred QualificationsUAE experience and familiarity with local regulatory and authority requirements.Experience supporting external certification and surveillance audits.Experience auditing project sites, subcontractors, or suppliers.Additional QHSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC).Work EnvironmentThis role combines office-based work with regular visits to project sites to conduct audits and verify compliance.
