WE ARE HIRING | IN-CHARGE – LABORATORY / MEDICAL CENTRE Are you an experienced professional with strong leadership, administrative, operational, and business management skills?We are looking for a motivated and responsible In-Charge – Laboratory / Medical Centre to oversee the overall operations, service quality, staff management, and business performance of our Laboratory / Medical Centre.Position: In-Charge – Laboratory / Medical CentreKey Responsibilities• Oversee the overall administrative and technical operations of the Medical Centre, laboratories, and collection centres under your supervision.• Manage staff attendance, leave, overtime, duty rosters, staffing requirements, performance, and productivity.• Lead, guide, motivate, and develop staff through effective coaching and on-the-job training.• Support the achievement of annual revenue targets and business growth objectives.• Ensure adequate stock availability and maintain accurate inventory records.• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper control of assets across all locations.• Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and premises.• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize wastage.• Ensure the quality and accuracy of laboratory reports.• Work closely with the Business Development team to achieve revenue and business objectives.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Specialist Consultants, Government Hospital staff, referral doctors, collection centres, and corporate customers.• Handle customer complaints and escalate unresolved matters to management.• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and maintain effective internal and external quality control processes.• Support the expansion of services and new locations within the assigned geographical area.• Support business development and brand development initiatives.• Ensure required regulatory registrations and approvals are maintained for laboratories, medical centres, and collection centres.• Monitor financial transactions and report any irregularities or misuse of funds.• Monitor courier operations and ensure required service levels are maintained.• Conduct periodic visits to company-owned centres to ensure smooth operations.• Ensure timely settlement of rentals, utility bills, regulatory charges, and other operational expenses.• Prepare and submit monthly reports and other information requested by management.Minimum Qualifications & Experience• GCE Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an In-Charge / supervisory role with strong administrative capabilities and a proven track record.• Previous experience in managing a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) will be an added advantage.• Previous experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will be an added advantage.Key Competencies• Strong leadership and people-management skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong administrative and organizational abilities• Business and commercial awareness• Problem-solving and decision-making skills• Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism• Customer-focused and results-oriented approach• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamKey Performance Areas✅ Achievement of annual revenue targets✅ Annual growth of the Strategic Business Unit✅ Reduction in staff turnover✅ Reduction in customer complaints✅ Effective cost and wastage reduction✅ Operational efficiency and service qualityReady to Take the Next Step?If you have the experience, leadership skills, and passion to drive operational excellence and business growth in the healthcare sector, we would love to hear from you!Apply Now and Join Our Team!
