This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on sophisticated commercial transactions, project development initiatives, financing activities, and strategic business operations.The successful candidate will serve as a trusted legal advisor across a broad range of matters, supporting project acquisitions, development, financing, commercial contracting, and corporate initiatives.Responsibilities:Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreementsSupport renewable energy project development and acquisition activitiesAssist with project financing transactions and due diligence effortsCoordinate legal support for debt and equity financingNegotiate vendor, construction, lease, and customer agreementsPartner with business leaders to identify and mitigate legal risksAssist with contract templates and internal legal processesSupport corporate governance and risk management initiativesWork cross-functionally with finance, operations, development, -and executive leadershipManage multiple complex transactions simultaneouslyQualifications:Juris Doctor from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar Experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, real estate, or project financeStrong contract drafting and negotiation skillsExperience with renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or commercial real estate is highly preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to balance legal risk with practical business solutionsPrior in-house experience is a plusInterested in hearing more?
