About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Manager to manage and oversee inbound logistics operations related to receiving products and materials from local and international suppliers, ensuring shipments arrive on time, at the required cost and quality, through effective coordination with Procurement, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and warehouses.Key ResponsibilitiesManage inbound logistics operations and monitor shipments from suppliers through to delivery at warehouses.Develop shipping and receiving plans in coordination with Procurement, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure product availability according to business requirements.Monitor purchase orders and their related shipments and ensure all logistics documents and requirements are complete and ready.Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs clearance agents to monitor local and international shipments and resolve delays or operational issues.Review shipping and import documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin when required.Monitor customs clearance processes and ensure all regulatory requirements are completed in coordination with relevant parties.Coordinate with warehouses to schedule receiving dates and ensure the required space and resources are available to receive shipments.Monitor the quantities received against purchase orders and shipping documents and raise discrepancies when identified.Analyze the root causes of shipment delays, damages, and discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Monitor shipping, customs clearance, and transportation costs, analyze cost drivers, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Develop and improve inbound logistics procedures and optimize the shipment receiving and tracking cycle.Coordinate with the Quality team when shipment, sample, or product inspections are required before products are received into inventory.Monitor the performance of freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and suppliers in terms of delivery timelines and service quality.Prepare periodic reports covering inbound shipment status, delays, costs, risks, and compliance rates.Manage risks related to inbound shipments, including delays, damages, missing documentation, and increased transportation costs.Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations related to import, shipping, customs clearance, and transportation.Coordinate with Finance regarding shipping and customs clearance invoices and related payments.Supervise the inbound logistics team, assign responsibilities, review deliverables, and support performance development.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience5–7 years of relevant experience in inbound logistics, shipping, and import operations.Experience in managing local and international shipments and coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents.Experience in import documentation and customs clearance processes.Experience in monitoring transportation and logistics costs and improving operational efficiency.Required CompetenciesStrong knowledge of inbound logistics, shipping, import, and customs clearance operations.Ability to monitor shipments, analyze delays and discrepancies, and implement appropriate solutions.Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal departments.Strong analytical skills in transportation and logistics cost management.Strong team leadership and operational decision-making capabilities.Strong organizational and follow-up skills.Good understanding of import and shipping documentation and regulatory requirements.Strong reporting and stakeholder management skills.LanguagesArabic and English.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing organization where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound products and materials across Reef Group.
