The Indian Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen team by assisting with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organizing cooking stations. Daily tasks include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing utensils and equipment, and ensuring proper storage of food items. The role involves helping with basic cooking activities under supervision, replenishing supplies, and coordinating with serving staff to ensure timely service. The position requires following hygiene and safety guidelines at all times and supporting the kitchen during peak service hours.Qualifications Ability to assist with Food Preparation and basic Cooking tasks in an Indian kitchen setting.Strong understanding of Hygiene standards and safe food handling practices.General knowledge of Food & Beverage operations in a restaurant environment.Basic Customer Service skills to interact politely with guests and support front-of-house staff when needed.Willingness to learn traditional South Indian recipes and cooking techniques.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented attitude with reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant is an advantage but not mandatory.
