This role focuses on planning and overseeing indirect tax engagements, delivering technical expertise, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance on complex tax matters.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIndirect Tax Support: Assist colleagues and clients by responding promptly to inquiries, ensuring clarity and compliance with indirect tax regulations.Compliance and Documentation: Contribute to indirect tax compliance tasks, including preparing filings, voluntary disclosures, and notices of objection for dispute resolution.Technical Analysis: Undertake detailed technical research and analysis on indirect tax matters, documenting findings to maintain high compliance standards.Team Collaboration: Support senior team members in managing engagements related to domestic and international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and audit defense strategies.Quality Assurance: Review and refine indirect tax-related work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards, under the guidance of senior staff.Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ranging from small private enterprises to large public organizations.Learning and Development: Support the development of presentations and training materials on indirect tax matters, contributing to both internal and external knowledge sharing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or any related field. Minimum of 4–7 years of dedicated experience in Indirect Tax.
