Candidates joining the company will be part of an ecosystem committed to innovation, technology adoption, and continuous learning in advanced manufacturing.Role Description The Industrial Automation Engineer role at Skillnet Learning is a full-time, on-site position based in the Zirakpur. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation systems for industrial and training environments, including PLCs, robotics, and process control systems. Daily responsibilities include programming and configuring automation equipment, diagnosing and resolving system issues, optimizing processes for efficiency and reliability, and supporting the setup of demonstration and training labs. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies, documenting technical procedures, and providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders and trainees on automation best practices.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving automation and control system issues.Candidates should possess Process Control and Automation skills for designing, configuring, and optimizing industrial control loops and automated workflows.Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills for understanding circuits, sensors, actuators, and safe installation of electrical and control equipment.Candidates should possess Robotics skills for deploying, programming, and maintaining industrial robots and related motion control systems.Relevant experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience in industrial automation.Ability to read technical drawings, create documentation, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Commitment to safety standards, attention to detail, and willingness to stay current with Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing technologies.
