We are looking for an engineer who wants to work on varied automation projects where software, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering come together.FunctionAs an Automation Engineer, you will develop and improve control software for technically complex installations.You will be involved in different phases of the project, from engineering and programming to testing and implementation.Your responsibilities include:Develop and modify PLC softwareConfigure SCADA and HMI applicationsTranslate functional requirements into control solutionsIntegrate software with technical systems and equipmentPerform software testing and troubleshootingSupport functional and system testingMaintain technical and software documentationWork closely with engineers from different technical disciplinesSupport implementation and commissioning when requiredRequirementsYou have a technical mindset and enjoy solving automation challenges in a project-based environment.Furthermore, you have:HBO working and thinking level in a relevant technical fieldExperience with PLC programmingKnowledge of SCADA and/or HMI systemsExperience within industrial automation or control engineeringAbility to read and understand technical documentationStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsGood command of EnglishExperience with complex machinery, installations or multidisciplinary engineering projects is an advantage.CompanyOur client is a technical organisation in South Holland that develops and implements control and automation solutions for complex equipment and installations.Engineering disciplines work closely together, allowing you to stay involved throughout the development and testing process.
