🗂 We’re Hiring: Industrial Automation Specialist🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Mid-Level to SeniorWe are seeking a technically skilled and analytical Industrial Automation Specialist to design, implement, maintain, and optimize industrial automation and control systems. This role will work closely with engineering, production, maintenance, IT, and operations teams to improve automation reliability, productivity, safety, and overall operational efficiency.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, configure, and maintain industrial automation and control systems.• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and related automation platforms.• Develop and modify control logic, sequences, alarms, interlocks, and automation functions.• Monitor automation system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.• Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, control, and communication issues.• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for automation failures.• Support commissioning, testing, validation, upgrades, and deployment of automation systems.• Integrate automation systems with production equipment, sensors, instrumentation, databases, MES, ERP, and other business systems.• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols.• Develop system documentation, electrical/control diagrams, configuration records, operating procedures, and maintenance documentation.• Work with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, IT, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for automation equipment and control systems.• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, digitalization, and productivity improvements.• Support system upgrades, modernization projects, and replacement of obsolete automation components.• Monitor system availability, reliability, performance, and operational KPIs.• Ensure automation systems comply with applicable safety, engineering, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.• Support industrial cybersecurity initiatives, including access control, backups, system recovery, and secure configuration.• Provide technical guidance and training to operators, technicians, and engineering personnel.✅ Requirements• Proven experience in industrial automation, control systems, electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a related technical field.• Strong hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and industrial control systems.• Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Omron, or similar systems.• Strong understanding of automation programming, control logic, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and industrial equipment.• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC, or similar technologies.• Experience troubleshooting automation hardware, software, networks, and system integrations.• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.• Experience with system commissioning, testing, upgrades, and automation improvement projects.• Knowledge of industrial networking, databases, MES, ERP, or production systems is an advantage.• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity and Operational Technology (OT) security is preferred.• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.• Ability to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, IT, and external vendors.• Ability to work in industrial environments and respond to critical technical issues when required.• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.• Relevant PLC, SCADA, industrial automation, engineering, or cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.🌟 What We Offer• Opportunity to work with advanced industrial automation and control technologies.• Exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, industrial networking, robotics, process control, and digital transformation.• Opportunity to lead automation improvement, modernization, and operational efficiency initiatives.• Career progression into Senior Industrial Automation Specialist, Automation Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Automation Manager, OT Engineer, Industrial Controls Manager, or Automation & Controls Director roles.• A technology-driven, safety-focused, and collaborative working environment.• Technical training, certifications, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.• Competitive compensation, performance incentives, and comprehensive benefits package.
