Industrial Designer (Sr. Manager)

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign-led role focused on sketching, rendering (like key shot etc.) and surfacing softwares (like Alias or Rhino)Lead concept generation through sketching, mood boards, and design narratives for new productsDevelop 3D surface/concept models in Rhino 3D and/or Autodesk Alias to explore form, proportion, and aestheticsTranslate user research and market insights into design concepts and product languageCreate renders and visualizations to communicate design intent to stakeholdersCollaborate closely with engineering/CAD teams to hand off design intent for feasibility and detailed CAD developmentBuild and refine design guidelines, mood boards, and trend/competitive analysisPresent design concepts to leadership, clients, or cross-functional teamsGuide junior designers and review their concept workStay current with materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and design trends relevant to the product categoryRequired SkillsStrong hand-sketching and ideation skillsProficiency in Rhino 3D (mandatory); working knowledge of Alias preferredProficiency in rendering tools (KeyShot, V-Ray, or similar)Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-to-form design process (not just finished renders)Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics as they relate to design decisionsAbility to communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersGood to HaveExperience working alongside CAD/engineering teams on design handoffExposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentationsExperience in product category — e.g., consumer electronics, mobility, appliances.
