Team members work closely with clients to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable solutions that address real-world production challenges.Role Description This full-time, on-site Industrial Robotics and Electrical Controls Engineer role is based in Jermyn, PA. The engineer will design and develop electrical control systems for robotic and automated equipment, including panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and PLC/HMI configurations. Daily responsibilities include programming and integrating industrial robots, commissioning new systems, and troubleshooting electrical and controls issues during installation and production. The role involves collaborating with mechanical engineers and project managers to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and customer requirements, as well as providing technical support and updates for existing equipment. The engineer will also assist with documentation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Controls and Electrical Engineering, with experience in industrial automation environments.Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Control Systems Design, including creating schematics, panel layouts, and selecting appropriate components.Applicants should be proficient in industrial programming and familiar with logical structures, including languages such as Python and C for example.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in robotic systems, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other control hardware.Experience with industrial robotics (Fanuc or similar), PLC programming, and HMI configuration is highly beneficial.Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in machine and equipment design is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in controls and robotics.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
