The merchandiser will plan, select, and manage infant and baby apparel assortments, ensuring collections align with brand vision, market trends, and customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing sales data, monitoring inventory levels, and collaborating with design, production, and sales teams to optimize product mix and timing. The role involves researching market and competitor trends, assisting with pricing and promotional strategies, and maintaining strong vendor and retail partner relationships. The merchandiser will also support in-store and online visual presentation standards to ensure products are displayed effectively and consistently across channels.Qualifications Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build effective vendor and client relationships.Customer service and retail experience to understand shopper behavior and ensure product assortments meet consumer needs.Sales skills to interpret sales performance, support revenue growth, and contribute to assortment and pricing decisions.Marketing awareness to help position infant and baby wear collections, support promotional activities, and understand brand impact.Experience or strong interest in infant and children’s apparel merchandising or fashion-related roles.Ability to analyze data, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with spreadsheets and merchandising or inventory tools; familiarity with e-commerce platforms is beneficial.Relevant education in fashion merchandising, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
