The group offers a stable, well-established environment with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centered service.Role Description This full-time, on-site Infectious Disease Physician position, starting July 2027, is based in Denver, CO. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultations, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex infections. Day-to-day responsibilities include rounding in local hospitals, seeing clinic patients, reviewing diagnostic tests and imaging, and collaborating with other specialists and primary care teams. The role also involves antimicrobial stewardship activities, infection prevention guidance, and participation in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives. The physician is expected to maintain accurate documentation, communicate clearly with patients and families, and contribute to a collegial practice environment.Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease and completion of an accredited Infectious Disease fellowship.Current or eligible unrestricted medical license in the state of Colorado and DEA registration.Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of complex infectious diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and counseling patients and families.Commitment to evidence-based practice, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention principles.Ability to manage a full-time clinical schedule, including hospital rounds and clinic, with attention to detail and timely documentation.Interest in teaching, mentoring, or participating in case conferences and quality improvement projects is beneficial.Experience working in community-based or hospital-based infectious disease practice is a plus.
