Information Security Officer

Role OverviewWe are looking for a senior Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the organisation’s overall information and cyber security strategy.The role will be responsible for building and leading the security architecture, cyber defence, data security, privacy, risk management, incident preparedness and regulatory readiness of a large-scale digital technology environment.This is a strategic and hands-on security leadership role, requiring strong experience in securing large-scale digital platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, applications, data and interconnected technology ecosystems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead the overall information and cyber security strategy.Anticipate evolving threats across AI, agentic systems, APIs, cloud, data, identity and open networks.Design and implement defence-in-depth security across infrastructure, APIs, applications, data and third-party ecosystems.Establish strong security architecture and ensure resilience is built into systems from the beginning.Own data security and privacy by design, including data access, storage, sharing and retention.Develop an AI-ready security posture covering emerging risks from AI and agentic systems.Build the security organisation and operating model, including processes, technology, controls, monitoring and response capabilities.Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to embed security into system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure, development lifecycle and deployments.Establish security standards and trust mechanisms across technology partners and third-party ecosystems.Develop capabilities to contain, recover from and continue operations through major cyber incidents and infrastructure failures.Lead security assurance, ISO 27001, regulatory requirements, C
