Information Technology Business Analyst

Robert Half are recruiting for a permanent Business Analyst to join a growing Digital & Technology function, helping to shape and deliver business and technology change within a highly regulated environment.The RoleYou'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to analyse current processes, systems, and technologies, ensuring change initiatives are aligned with operational requirements, security standards, and business objectives.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in digital transformation projects while working across technology, operations, and leadership teamsKey ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.Conduct discovery workshops and assess operational and technical environments.Produce process maps, documentation, and logical diagrams.Identify improvement opportunities across systems, applications, and business processes.Develop requirements, acceptance criteria, and business recommendationConduct feasibility assessments and support change prioritisations.Engage with stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure successful project outcomes.What We're Looking ForProven experience as a Business Analyst within technology, IT, or transformation environments.Strong requirements gathering and process mapping skillsExperience analysing business processes, systems, and dataExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong documentation and analytical capabilitiesA proactive mindset with a keen eye for detailBCS Diploma (or equivalent Business Analysis qualification).SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it.Desirable ExperienceAgile working environmentsProduct Owner or Scrum Master certificationDefence, manufacturing, or government sector experienceFamiliarity with regulated or secure environmentsSalary: £45,000 - £55,000Location: Bedford (4 days a week in the office)
