IT Engineer | Central LondonUp to £36,000 + Excellent BenefitsNote: Previous experience working within the education sector, particularly within a private education environment, or experience working for an IT MSP specialising in education is Highly desirable: Are you an experienced IT Engineer looking for a varied role within a leading private education environment?A well-established private education organisation is looking for an enthusiastic IT Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across multiple sites, maintain core infrastructure and support ongoing technology projects.As an IT Engineer, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support while helping maintain and improve the wider IT estate. You will work closely with staff, stakeholders and external technology partners to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose.Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across multiple sitesSupport Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCPAdminister Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and IntuneSupport Google Workspace and end-user devices across Windows, macOS and mobileMaintain networking, wireless and security infrastructureSupport classroom, meeting room and AV technologyAssist with IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvementProvide user training and technical guidanceSupport suppliers, licensing and service agreementsSkills & ExperienceTo be successful as an IT Engineer, you should have:Previous experience in IT support, infrastructure or an IT Engineer roleStrong Microsoft 365 administration experienceKnowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and networkingExperience supporting Windows and Apple devicesExposure to Intune, Jamf or other MDM solutionsKnowledge of firewalls and cybersecurityStrong customer service and communication skillsIf you're an ambitious IT Engineer looking to develop your career within a private education environment, we'd love to hear from you.
