Information Technology Governance Manager

Barza Consulting is partnering with a leading fintech institution in Dubai to recruit an experienced IT Governance Manager.This is an exciting opportunity for a technology governance professional to play a key role in strengthening IT governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving effective technology risk management within a fast-paced and innovative fintech environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with business and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and internal governance policies.Oversee IT risk management activities, including risk assessments, controls, and remediation initiatives.Monitor technology governance processes and recommend continuous improvements.Collaborate with technology, risk, compliance, audit, and business teams to ensure effective governance and control.Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and governance committees.Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.Promote governance best practices across the technology function.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.8+ years of experience in IT governance, technology risk, IT audit, or information security within the banking, financial services, or fintech sector.Strong knowledge of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, and technology risk management practices.Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions in the UAE.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.Relevant professional certifications such as COBIT, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or ITIL are highly desirable.
