Job Description – Chief Manager – IT Infrastructure & Delivery

Department: Real Estate & InfrastructureRole PurposeThe Chief Manager – IT Infrastructure & Delivery will lead the end-to-end planning, design, execution, integration, commissioning and handover of IT infrastructure for a large-scale campus project.

The role will focus on creating a secure, resilient, scalable and future-ready digital workplace aligned with technology, cybersecurity, business continuity and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop the overall IT infrastructure strategy, master plan and technology roadmap.Translate business requirements into infrastructure, capacity and technology requirements.Lead design and implementation of structured cabling, fibre backbone, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, MDF/IDF, network rooms and data centre/server-room infrastructure.Oversee telecom, unified communications, AV/meeting-room and digital workplace infrastructure.Manage IoT, smart-building, BMS and OT/IT integration requirements.Coordinate IT infrastructure with architectural, MEP, security, electrical, HVAC, fire and interior works.Lead project delivery from concept and design through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.Manage IT consultants, system integrators, contractors, OEMs and technology partners.Review technical submissions, BOQs, drawings, specifications and method statements.Monitor project timelines, quality, cost, site execution and adherence to approved designs.Lead technical vendor evaluations and support commercial negotiations and contract finalization.Manage FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing and performance testing.Ensure IT readiness for phased occupancy and business go-live.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and information-security requirements, including network segmentation and access controls.Manage project documentation, as-built drawings, network diagrams, asset registers, licenses, warranties and O&M documentation.Ensure smooth handover and transition from project delivery to IT operations.Key SkillsIT Infrastructure | Enterprise Networking | LAN/WAN | Wi-Fi | Structured Cabling | Fibre | Data Centre | MDF/IDF | AV | Telecom | Smart Building | IoT | BMS | OT/IT Integration | Cybersecurity | Network Segmentation | IT Project Management | Testing & Commissioning | Vendor Management | System IntegrationCandidate Profile10–12+ years of relevant IT infrastructure/project delivery experience.Experience in large corporate campuses, commercial developments, data centres, airports, hospitals or other complex infrastructure projects preferred.Strong understanding of enterprise networking, structured cabling, data centres, Wi-Fi, AV, telecom and smart-building technologies.Strong knowledge of system configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, project controls and handover.Qualification: Engineering in IT/E&TC or BCS/MCS.PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or relevant technology certifications would be advantageous.
