Information Technology Manager

This is not a back-office IT job.The systems you run will touch mobility, connected infrastructure, and the daily lives of an entire community. When it works, everyone benefits. When it breaks, everyone notices. That's the deal, and it's why this role matters.What You'll Own:Technology leadership and governance. Define and execute the IT strategy, roadmap, policies, and standards. Advise leadership on risk, opportunity, and emerging technology. Own budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and governance end to end.Cybersecurity and risk. Lead a comprehensive security program aligned with national standards. Own risk management, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Implement Zero Trust architecture and modern security controls across the environment.Infrastructure and operations. Oversee enterprise networks, cloud platforms, endpoints, and core municipal systems. Manage lifecycle, asset tracking, and system performance.Who You Are:You've owned IT operations across infrastructure, cloud, and security, not just influenced them from the sidelinesYou've led enterprise-scale programs: cloud migrations, ERP implementations, or comprehensive cybersecurity buildsYou carry real accountability for risk, vendors, and budget, and you're comfortable being the name attached to the outcomeYou can translate complex technology into plain English for non-technical leaders and elected officials
