We develop and operate live services on behalf of global clients, which means we handle highly confidential client IP and our own. Downtime and data leakage are not options: our infrastructure decisions are directly tied to business continuity, client trust, and regulatory obligations. You will be a builder first someone who has taken IT from zero to one and is equally comfortable racking a switch, hardening an identity platform, and presenting a security posture to a client’s audit team.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & System AdministrationOwn the entire IT infrastructure end to end: servers, networking, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure),endpoints, and business applications across the full org, not a single function.Design for reliability and scale: define and meet uptime targets, capacity plans, and networkperformance for a 24/7 live-services business.Run identity and access end to end: SSO/IdP (Microsoft Entra/Okta), MFA, role-based access, and a disciplined joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle.Manage the endpoint fleet via MDM (Intune/Jamf) including high-spec developer and artistworkstations and GPU resources.Maintain living documentation: network architecture, system configurations, runbooks, and ITprocedures.Game Development & Studio ITOperate studio-specific infrastructure: build servers/CI farms (Jenkins/TeamCity), version control systems (Perforce/Git), and shared storage for large binary assets.Administer console development kits (PlayStation/Xbox/Nintendo) in line with platform-holder NDA, security, and physical-handling requirements.Manage licensing and software assets for engines and DCC tools (Unreal, Unity, Maya, Houdini, etc.), optimizing cost and compliance.Support low-latency networking needs for playtests, live-ops tooling, and remote collaboration with global clients.Security, Client IP Protection & ComplianceOwn protection of client and company IP: per-project data segregation, need-to-know access controls, DLP, and egress monitoring aligned to client NDAs.Represent IT/security in client security audits and onboarding questionnaires; drive remediation to closure.Implement and operate the security stack: EDR/XDR, email security, SIEM/log monitoring, patch and vulnerability management, and a zero-trust roadmap.Drive certification and framework compliance: ISO 27001 (required), SOC 2 and TPN (TrustedPartner Network) readiness, and India’s DPDP Act 2023 plus client-jurisdiction requirements (e.g., GDPR).Run regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests with external partners; own findings through closure.Own physical security systems tied to IP protection: access control, CCTV, and visitor management for studio spaces.Business Continuity & Incident ResponseDefine and own RTO/RPO targets; design, implement, and critically test backup and disaster recovery plans on a regular cadence.Establish incident-response plans and an on-call rotation appropriate to a 24/7 live-services business; run post-incident reviews.Technical Support & End-User ServicesLead the IT support function with SLA-driven processes; measure and improve response and resolution times.Own onboarding/offboarding technology workflows for employees and contractors, including secure device provisioning and access revocation.Deliver security-awareness training and phishing simulations; build a security-first culture.Vendors, Budget & Strategic PlanningOwn the IT budget end to end, including cloud cost management (FinOps), procurement, and hardware lifecycle planning.Evaluate, negotiate, and manage vendors and MSPs; hold third parties to SLAs and take corrective action when they miss.Lead IT projects office expansions and buildouts, cloud migrations, new technology rollouts from business case to delivery.Plan IT scalability ahead of headcount and client growth; recommend technologies that raise productivity without compromising security.Team LeadershipBuild the IT team from the ground up: hire, mentor, and develop IT specialists; coordinate external contractors.Set KPIs for uptime, ticket SLAs, audit outcomes, and security posture; report them to leadership on a regular cadence. What You Bring (Must-Haves)8+ years in IT, including 3+ years managing IT teams, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of an organization’s IT (not a single department or function).Proven zero-to-one experience: you have built or substantially rebuilt IT infrastructure and/or an IT team from scratch at a startup, new office, or greenfield site.Deep hands-on expertise across networking, Windows/Linux server administration, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Microsoft 365, virtualization, firewalls, and VPN/SD-WAN.Working command of the modern security stack: MDM, SSO/IdP, EDR, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability management you have implemented these, not just specified them.Direct experience with security compliance: ISO 27001 implementation or audit ownership, plus exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or equivalent regulated-environment audits.Experience defining and testing backup/DR strategies with explicit RTO/RPO commitments.Budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience.Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including with external clients and auditors.Nice-to-HavesGame studio, animation/VFX, or media production IT experience build farms, Perforce, dev kits, TPN.Experience in fintech, SaaS, or other regulated, uptime-critical environments.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, ITIL v4, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python) and an automation-first mindset.Benefits Opportunity to build the IT function of a fast-growing game production company from the ground up.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional growth and development opportunities.A collaborative team culture that values innovation and excellence.By joining Liquidnitro Games, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to pushing theboundaries of game development and live services.
