All qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.***Ingenium Talent, a Louisville-based recruiting firm, is currently working with a Bowling Green manufacturing client in their search for a full-time Information Technology Manager. Our client is going through a rapid growth phase and is looking to build out their IT department to keep up with the growth. In addition to providing hands-on support as needed, this role will be responsible for the management of the existing IT team, as well as owning the relationships with all third-party partners. This position serves as a hands-on leader who combines IT management with direct ownership of business applications and systems. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for translating organizational priorities into practical technology solutions, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needsPlease note that this role is 100% onsite at our client's Bowling Green manufacturing location. All qualified candidates must be local to the Bowling Green area. No relocation assistance is being offered at this time.Responsibilities include:Lead the day-to-day activities and priorities of the IT and Business Systems function.Translate organizational priorities established with executive leadership into technology projects, deliverables, and measurable results.Serve as the primary internal owner and administrator of ERP, WMS, and other core operational business applications.Understand business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, finance, shipping, and related functions and identify opportunities to improve them through technology.Serve as the primary owner of relationships with managed IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, backup, server, and application service providers.Establish clear service expectations and hold external partners accountable for performance.Maintain internal accountability for cybersecurity while leveraging specialized external providers for monitoring and technical services.Bring solutions and recommendations forward rather than relying on executive leadership to define technical execution.Balance immediate operational needs with long-term technology architecture.Qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent7+ years of progressive experience in information technology, business systems, ERP/application administration, or related functions.Previous direct supervisory experience.Experience administering or supporting ERP or other enterprise business applications.Demonstrated experience leading technology projects and coordinating internal and external resources.Strong understanding of relational databases, system integrations, and business data.Working knowledge of SQL.Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, frontline employees, managers, and executive leadership.Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI, APIs, SQL databases, and workflow/automation platforms.Experience managing cybersecurity or managed-services relationships.All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today.
