Job Announcement: IT Manager – Trade Bank of Iraq, Saudi Arabia Branch (Saudization)Job Title: IT Manager Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Department: Information Technology Reporting to: COO – Saudi Arabia BranchHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume to: ( Jobs@tbisa.sa )Closing date for applications: 10 September 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Job BriefThe Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) is seeking a dedicated and professional IT Manager to lead the Information Technology function at its Saudi Arabia Branch, with responsibilities spanning IT operations, IT infrastructure, information security, and the management of IT Managed Service Providers to maintain and optimize the Bank's technology environment.This role is critical to ensuring that the implementation and operation of all technology infrastructure — including the data center, network, telephony, service monitoring, and related software — are delivered in a timely manner and without service interruption. The position is also operationally responsible for the availability, integrity, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure, and for ensuring full compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) requirements and applicable regulatory standards.The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical depth with strong leadership and vendor management capabilities, demonstrate sound judgment under pressure, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated banking environment.Key Responsibilities•      Lead the technology infrastructure strategy and its execution for the Branch, in partnership with executive management.•      Ensure all IT systems comply with financial regulations and standards, including SAMA requirements, data protection laws, and regulations governing financial transactions.•      Negotiate and manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, service providers, and consultants to ensure the Bank receives high-quality and cost-effective products and services.•      Develop enterprise standards, technology architecture, and the IT operations governance process.•      Conduct product and vendor evaluations to ensure best-in-class technologies and partners.•      Provide direct oversight, problem-solving leadership, and hands-on participation in complex infrastructure implementations, system upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.•      Lead the delivery of 24/7 service operations and ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and service levels.•      Oversee the IT tendering process, including RFP preparation, sizing, and costing, and review FSDs and BRDs related to IT projects.Applicant RequirementsEducation:•      Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.Professional Certifications:•      Any certification in the field of Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper, ITIL, Microsoft, TOGAF, PMP, F5, Oracle, or Temenos is preferred.Experience:•      5 - 7 years of total experience, including application hosting, infrastructure, and core banking applications.•      Experience leading the overall infrastructure of a complex organization, including payment systems, core banking solutions, and cybersecurity.•      Exposure to ITIL concepts and their adoption.•      Experience with regulatory compliance requirements, as well as best practices in banking and non-banking application security.•      Knowledge of the IT tendering process, including RFP preparation, sizing, and costing.•      Knowledge of FSDs and BRDs related to IT projects.Skills:•      In-depth knowledge of core banking solutions.•      Knowledge of security best-practice guidelines, including SAMA, NIST, and PCI-DSS.•      Knowledge of banking IT production, banking operations, and business requirements.•      Ability to translate business needs into IT systems and operations.•      Sharp troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.•      Strong organizational, planning, and mentoring skills.•      Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.•      Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team.•      Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.•      Fluent in English and Arabic (both verbal and written).
