Position OverviewThe IT Manager will be responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and continuously improving the IT infrastructure and digital systems of Ghrghar Group and its subsidiaries. The role will oversee the Group’s servers, networks, domains, email systems, cybersecurity, user accounts, hardware, software, cloud platforms, backups, and overall IT operations.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on IT professional with strong experience in IT infrastructure, Microsoft/Google cloud environments, cybersecurity, networking, server administration, domain management, and IT support. They will act as the primary point of responsibility for ensuring that the Group’s technology systems remain secure, reliable, available, and properly managed.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & SystemsManage and maintain the Group’s IT infrastructure across offices and operating locations.Manage servers, storage systems, network infrastructure, firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems, and related equipment.Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades and improvements.Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, systems, configurations, and assets.Ensure appropriate backup and disaster recovery procedures are implemented and regularly tested.Domains, Websites & DNSManage all company domains, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and ownership.Manage DNS records, SSL certificates, domain security, and related configurations.Coordinate with website developers and external providers regarding hosting, DNS, SSL, and server requirements.Maintain proper access and ownership of all Group digital assets.Email & Cloud AdministrationManage the Group’s corporate email infrastructure and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 environments, as applicable.Create, modify, suspend, and remove employee accounts.Manage email groups, aliases, shared mailboxes, permissions, and organizational structures.Implement and maintain email security policies, including spam, phishing, MFA, and authentication controls.Manage cloud storage, permissions, shared drives, and user access.Ensure appropriate onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.CybersecurityTake primary responsibility for the Group’s cybersecurity infrastructure and practices.Implement and maintain endpoint protection, firewalls, MFA, access controls, and security monitoring.Identify vulnerabilities and security risks across the Group’s systems.Establish and enforce IT security policies and procedures.Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, malware, phishing, and other cyber threats.Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements.Manage cybersecurity incidents and coordinate appropriate response and recovery procedures.Ensure company data and systems are protected against unauthorized access, loss, or compromise.Provide cybersecurity awareness and best-practice training to employees.Network ManagementManage office networks, VPNs, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, VLANs, firewalls, and remote access.Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.Establish secure connectivity between offices, facilities, and remote employees where required.Monitor network security and availability.Hardware & SoftwareManage company computers, laptops, printers, phones, networking equipment, and other IT hardware.Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory.Manage hardware procurement, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and replacement.Ensure computers and devices are properly configured and secured.Manage software licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and user access.Establish standardized IT configurations for company devices.User Support & IT OperationsProvide or oversee day-to-day technical support for employees.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and account-related issues.Establish an efficient IT support/helpdesk process.Prioritize and resolve critical IT incidents promptly.Support employees across different Group companies and locations.Access & Identity ManagementManage employee access to company systems, applications, servers, cloud platforms, and shared resources.Implement appropriate role-based access controls.Regularly review user permissions and remove unnecessary access.Ensure immediate access revocation when employees leave the organization.Maintain secure administrative accounts and privileged access.Backup & Disaster RecoveryDevelop and maintain comprehensive backup strategies for critical systems and data.Regularly test backups and recovery procedures.Establish disaster recovery procedures for critical IT infrastructure.Ensure business-critical systems can be restored following hardware failure, cyberattack, data loss, or other incidents.IT Policies & ComplianceDevelop and maintain Group-wide IT policies and procedures.Establish policies covering cybersecurity, passwords, acceptable use, device management, email, data protection, backups, and access control.Ensure employees follow established IT security procedures.Maintain IT documentation, licenses, warranties, contracts, and service agreements.Vendor & Service Provider ManagementManage relationships with internet providers, hosting companies, domain registrars, software providers, cybersecurity providers, and IT vendors.Evaluate and recommend IT products, services, and solutions.Obtain and compare quotations for IT equipment and services.Monitor vendor performance and service levels.Manage IT budgets, subscriptions, renewals, and recurring costs.Strategic IT ManagementDevelop and implement the Group’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions where beneficial.Lead IT projects, system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.Ensure technology infrastructure can scale with the Group’s growth.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.5+ years of relevant IT experience, with experience in an IT management or senior infrastructure role preferred.Strong experience in:Server administrationNetworking and firewallsMicrosoft managementExperience managing IT environments across multiple offices or companies is highly desirable.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage both strategic IT projects levels.Willing to be hands-on when required rather than relying entirely on external IT providers.Success in This RoleThe IT Manager will be expected to ensure that Ghrghar Group’s technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, properly documented, and available to support the Group’s operations. The position will play a key role in protecting company data, preventing cyber incidents, minimizing downtime, controlling IT costs, and building a scalable technology infrastructure for the Group's continued growth.
