Information Technology Manager

Job Summary:The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring effective management of technology resources and systems to support the overall business objectives. This role involves leading the IT team, managing projects, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our information systemsKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership and ManagementLead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.Infrastructure ManagementOversee the organization’s network, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance and security.Monitor and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.Plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades, including hardware and software installations.Project ManagementManage IT projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and challenges.Security and ComplianceEnsure the organization adheres to industry standards and regulations concerning data security and privacy.Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect company information.Support and TroubleshootingOversee the provision of technical support and training for staff, ensuring all users are effectively supported.Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, escalating them when necessary.Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and present regular reports on IT performance metrics, project status, and budget reviews to senior management.Analyze IT trends and new technologies, making recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master is preferred).Minimum 8 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network administration, and security principles.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience with project management methodologies.Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CCNA) are a plus.Skills:Proficiency in managing IT projects, both planned and ad-hoc.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical staff.Knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies.Note: Only short-listed Candidate will be contacted.
