Information Technology Network Engineer ( UAEN )

We are seeking a skilled IT, Networking & Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, network security, and efficient operation of all IT systems while supporting users and troubleshooting technical issues.Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and routers Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus, and access controls Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Provide technical support to end users and resolve IT tickets Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures Manage cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) if applicable Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field 3–7 years of experience in IT systems and network administration Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security tools Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or CompTIA (Network+, Security+) Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) Experience with monitoring tools and IT service management systems Key Skills Network administration Systems management Cybersecurity awareness Troubleshooting and analytical thinking Communication and teamwork
