Information Technology Operations Lead

The OpportunityReporting to the Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technology operations across the organization, ensuring the stability, security and continuous improvement of our IT environment.You will provide operational leadership across infrastructure, business applications, software development, technology vendors and IT projects, while working closely with business stakeholders to ensure technology supports operational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesIT OperationsOversee the day-to-day operation of the company's IT infrastructure and business systems.Ensure high system availability, performance and operational stability.Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis.Drive preventative maintenance and continuous operational improvements.Infrastructure & CloudManage servers, virtualization platforms, Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.Oversee networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN and security infrastructure.Ensure backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes are maintained.Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity planning.Software Development & Business ApplicationsCoordinate the day-to-day activities of the Software Development team and support the successful delivery of development initiatives. Manage application deployment and release activities across development, UAT and production environments, ensuring controlled and well-documented releases. Oversee Azure application services, cloud resources and DevOps pipelines to ensure the stability, availability and performance of internally developed systems. Coordinate software testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments, ensuring appropriate change management and rollback procedures are followed. Ensure adherence to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), development standards, documentation and change management processes. Identify opportunities to improve development processes, release management, system Vendor & Service ManagementManage relationships with technology vendors and support partners.Monitor SLAs, service delivery and vendor performance.Coordinate escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.Support procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.ProjectsCoordinate the delivery of infrastructure and business application projects.Track milestones, risks and project progress.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.Maintain project documentation and reporting.Security & GovernanceSupport cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with IT policies.Maintain system documentation, asset registers and operational procedures.Support audits, vulnerability remediation and security best practices.What We're Looking For5–7 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure or Enterprise IT environments.Experience coordinating or leading technical teams across infrastructure and software development.Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualization and cloud platforms.Experience supporting enterprise business applications.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.Experience coordinating software development teams and managing technical deliveries. Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, application hosting and cloud services. Experience with DevOps practices, release management and CI/CD pipelines.Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Experience with Microsoft AzureMicrosoft 365 AdministrationVMware or Hyper-VFortinet, Cisco or UbiquitiSQL ServerZohoCRM platformsPower AutomateAI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini)Microsoft, Cisco, Azure, ITIL or Fortinet certifications
