Information Technology Operations Manager

Responsible for managing and overseeing IT functions, services, operations, resources, and initiatives to ensure effective delivery of technology services aligned with organizational objectives. The role may cover IT service management, infrastructure, operations, applications, cybersecurity, or other IT functions depending on the assignment.Roles and Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee assigned IT functions, services, projects, or operational activities.• Develop and implement IT strategies, plans, processes, and service improvements.• Lead IT teams and coordinate internal and external resources.• Manage IT service delivery, performance, availability, and operational efficiency.• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service performance.• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners.• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and applicable regulations.• Support budgeting, resource planning, and technology planning.• Provide management reporting, recommendations, and technical advice.Skills and Competencies • IT service and operations management.• Leadership and team management.• Strategic planning and problem-solving.• Stakeholder and vendor management.• Risk and issue management.• Strong communication and reporting skills.• Knowledge of IT governance, processes, and best practices.Experience and Qualifications • 12+ years of relevant technical/IT experience.• 7+ years of management experience.• Demonstrated experience managing IT functions, teams, services, or complex technology environments.Certifications Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, COBIT, CISSP, or equivalent certifications may be requireddepending on the assignment.Education • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a relateddiscipline.• Master’s Degree or equivalent depth of knowledge of a technical field
