Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, you'll help define sourcing strategies, optimise supplier relationships, and support future growth.The RoleYou'll lead category management, sourcing and supplier management across a designated technology spend area — acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and developing sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement multi-year technology sourcing strategies aligned to business objectivesLead strategic sourcing initiatives from market engagement through to contract awardDeliver sustainable cost savings and commercial value against procurement targetsBuild strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making across the organisationMonitor supplier performance against quality, service, compliance and cost expectationsSupport financial planning, forecasting and budgeting; track market and supplier trendsAbout YouEssential:Proven technology/IT category management and sourcing experience in a large, complex procurement environmentExperience managing high-value contracts and strategic sourcing activityStrong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable valueDesirable:Regulated industry background (financial services, utilities, telecoms, healthcare)CIPS qualification; degree in Business, Finance or ProcurementSkills: Strong commercial/negotiation ability, cost analysis & financial modelling, procurement governance knowledge, and familiarity with IT services, software and infrastructure categories.Attributes: Excellent stakeholder management, strong communication, analytical mindset, and a results-driven, collaborative approachWhat's on Offer£6,000 car allowance30 days annual leave + bank holidays (service-based increases)Private medical insurance, life assurance & income protectionCompany share/savings schemesWellbeing support, enhanced family-friendly policies, and career development opportunitiesWorking Pattern: Hybrid, ~12 days/month in the Milton Keynes office.
