Information Technology Project Manager

We’re working with a Leading Law Firm to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager to join their technology team on a 14 month contract.This is a key role responsible for managing the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior sponsors.The RoleLead IT projects from planning through to delivery and handoverDevelop project plans covering scope, budget, timelines and resourcesManage stakeholders, risks, budgets and competing prioritiesTranslate business requirements into effective technology solutionsSupport process improvement, automation and business process redesignLead cross-functional project teams and ensure key milestones are deliveredConduct post-project reviews and identify areas for improvementAbout YouProven experience delivering IT projects using recognised project management methodologiesExperience managing a varied IT project portfolio, including applications, software implementations, infrastructure and office movesStrong understanding of IT and business applicationsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong process mapping and project leadership abilitiesComfortable working with technical teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholdersExperience within the legal sector is highly desirableDesirable: Business Analysis qualifications, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, and knowledge of technologies such as iManage, SharePoint, Active Directory, messaging, virtualisation and LAN/WAN.
