IT Project ManagerOverviewWe are seeking an accomplished IT Project Manager with 10-15+ years of overall IT experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale technology programs and business transformation initiatives. The role will be responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery across application development, enterprise platforms, digital transformation, cloud modernization, integrations, and technology enablement programs.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, stakeholder management, governance, and delivery management capabilities, with experience working across global business and technology teams. This role requires the ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage multiple concurrent workstreams, lead cross-functional teams, oversee project finances, and ensure successful delivery aligned to business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project LeadershipLead and deliver medium to large-scale IT projects and transformation initiatives across custom applications, enterprise platforms, cloud technologies, integrations, automation, and digital solutions.Own end-to-end project delivery from business case development through planning, execution, deployment, stabilization, and benefits realization.Manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously while ensuring alignment with business priorities and organizational strategy.Establish and drive project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, reporting standards, and performance metrics.Develop and manage integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.Stakeholder & Executive ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for business leaders, sponsors, IT leadership, and key stakeholders.Provide executive-level status reporting, steering committee presentations, and governance updates.Facilitate strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, risk assessments, and impact analysis.Build strong relationships across business, technology, operations, security, infrastructure, and external partner organizations.Delivery & Execution ManagementLead cross-functional delivery teams comprising project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, QA teams, vendors, and third-party partners.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.Manage project financials including budget planning, forecasting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and benefit realization.Drive proactive management of critical path activities, dependencies, and resource constraints.Oversee release planning, deployment readiness, cutover execution, hypercare support, and operational transition activities.Risk, Governance & Change ManagementEstablish robust risk, issue, dependency, and change management processes.Identify project and program risks early and drive mitigation strategies with relevant stakeholders.Lead governance forums, steering committees, stage-gate reviews, and executive decision boards.Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards, information security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.Manage project scope changes and assess their impacts on timelines, budget, resources, and business objectives.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage relationships with technology vendors, implementation partners, and external service providers.Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations, SLAs, budgets, and delivery commitments.Support contract reviews, statement of work evaluations, and procurement activities where required.Continuous Improvement & TransformationDrive adoption of delivery best practices, Agile methodologies, PMO standards, and project governance frameworks.Mentor junior project managers, PMOs, and delivery leads.Contribute to organizational project management maturity, delivery excellence, and transformation initiatives.Required CompetenciesDelivery Leadership & Project ManagementProven experience managing complex enterprise-wide projects and transformation programs.Strong expertise in project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and delivery management.Extensive experience managing project budgets, resources, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.Ability to lead geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.Experience managing multiple parallel projects and competing organizational priorities.Demonstrated ability to successfully recover challenged projects and resolve complex delivery issues.Methodologies & Delivery FrameworksStrong practical experience with Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SAFe, and DevOps delivery models.Experience establishing delivery governance, PMO processes, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and stage-gate governance.Technical & Domain ExpertiseStrong understanding of enterprise technology environments, including:Custom application development (.NET, Java, Microservices)Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM, HR Systems)Salesforce and Customer PlatformsData & Analytics platformsAPI and Integration technologiesDevOps and CI/CD practicesInfrastructure and environments.Education & Professional Experience10-15+ years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years of project/program management experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives.Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-wide IT programs, digital transformation initiatives, application modernization, cloud migration, or platform implementation projects.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage.Experience in Shipping, Logistics,
