FREELANCE OPPORTUNITY ONLY || ITALIAN SPEAKER || APPLIED ONLY IF YOU OWN A VAT NUMBERFull remote – part time – November start date - duration whole 2027Senior Software Project Manager – Required SkillsProject contextCoordination of a strategic software refactoring project involving the modernization/reengineering of both Front-End and Back-End, while preserving the existing Business Logic and functional behavior.Required skills & experienceProven experience as Senior Project Manager in complex software development projects, ideally involving application modernization, refactoring or architectural evolution.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary software teams, including Front-End, Back-End, Architecture, Test.Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their application within software products and development processes, with the ability to effectively coordinate technical teams working on AI-related components or initiatives.Availability for a part-time engagement, 6+6 months, approximately 30–40%, with flexibility to adapt the effort according to project phases, milestones and critical activities.Strong project planning and execution skills, including:project roadmap and detailed planning;milestones and deliverables definition;resource and capacity planning;dependency management;critical path identification and management.Strong experience in project monitoring and control, with particular focus on:schedule and progress tracking;budget / cost monitoring;effort tracking and forecasting;identification and management of deviations from plan.
