Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or an elite social experience, the AMAALA Yacht Club is your gateway to an extraordinary nautical journey.Join our visionary team and help shape the future of luxury yachting.Job PurposeSupport the effective delivery, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Information Technology services and solutions.The role provides technical support, assists with day-to-day IT operations, participates in technology projects, and contributes to the successful achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-level technical support for users, devices, systems, and IT services.Assist in maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of technology solutions and equipment.Assist with the implementation of IT projects, system upgrades, and operational initiatives.Support business applications and technology services to ensure smooth daily operations.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for support, maintenance, and issue resolution.Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, records, and support logs.Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Support information security, data protection, and compliance requirements in accordance with company policies.Provide technical assistance for meetings, events, and operational activities when required.Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities as directed.Collaborate with internal departments to support business and operational needs.Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management in support of IT and business operations.Safety, Quality & EnvironmentComply with all Health, Safety, Quality, Security, and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards.Maintain a safe and secure working environment and report any hazards, incidents, or risks.Ensure all assigned activities are performed in accordance with company quality and compliance requirements.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve IT services, processes, and operational efficiency.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practices.Share knowledge and lessons learned to enhance team performance and service delivery.Support innovation and the adoption of new technologies and working methods.Job RequirementsQualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or arelated field.1-2 years of experience in Information Technology or a related technical support role.Basic understanding of IT operations, systems, applications, and support practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.SkillsTechnical troubleshooting and problem resolution.Understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and end-user support.Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including wired and wireless connectivity.Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.Understanding of IT service management principles and support processes.Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, and data protection practices.Experience with IT asset management, documentation, and inventory control.Ability to support business applications and operational technology solutions.Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple support requests, priorities, and deadlines.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and business requirements.Familiarity with hospitality, retail, and business systems is an advantage.Exposure to POS systems, property management systems, collaboration tools, and business applications.Understanding of AV, meeting room, and guest technology support is beneficial.Job ContextThe IT Specialist supports the day-to-day delivery of Information Technology services across multiple properties and business functions.The role operates in a dynamic hospitality environment, providing technical support, assisting with IT operations, supporting technology projects, and ensuring the availability and reliability of IT services.The position requires flexibility to support a wide range of technology-related activities and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to meet business objectives.
