Information Technology Support Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in a site-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to project staff and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity at the construction site.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to site employees and project teams.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network connectivity issues.Support Windows, Microsoft Office 365, email, and other business applications.Set up computers, user accounts, and IT equipment for new employees.Maintain IT asset and equipment records at the project site.Coordinate with Head Office IT and external vendors for technical issues.Provide support for CCTV, access control, attendance systems, and other site IT systems where required.Maintain IT security, antivirus, backups, and access controls.Record and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.Ensure all site IT equipment and systems are properly maintained and operational.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or a similar position.Previous experience in a construction, contracting, engineering, or site environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office/Office 365, hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.UAE experience is must
