IT Support Engineer | Microsoft, Infrastructure, Networking📍 London - Fully onsite💰 £40,000 - £45,000We’re working with an established business based in Central London who are looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their internal IT team. This is a broad, hands-on role covering everything from day-to-day user support through to systems, infrastructure and networking. You’ll be working closely with the Head of IT and will have the opportunity to get involved across a varied technical environment.What you’ll be doing:Providing 1st/2nd Line IT support to users across the businessTroubleshooting hardware, software, network and system issues and supporting Microsoft 365, Windows and Active DirectoryManaging user accounts, access and permissionsSetting up and maintaining laptops, mobile devices and other hardwareSupporting meeting rooms, Teams, Zoom and other collaboration toolsAssisting with servers, virtualisation and cloud technologiesMonitoring and troubleshooting network and infrastructure issuesSupporting general IT administration and maintaining documentationGetting involved in upgrades, migrations and wider IT projectsHelping improve internal IT processes and the overall user experienceWhat they’re looking for:Previous experience in an IT Support / Infrastructure roleStrong Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledgeExperience with Active Directory and user administrationGood understanding of networking and infrastructureComfortable troubleshooting issues independently and seeing them through to resolutionStrong communication skills and a good customer-focused approachSomeone who enjoys being hands-on and getting involved across different areas of ITExperience with Macs, Cisco Meraki, firewalls, server migrations or AD Connect would be useful, but isn’t essential.
