Information Technology Support Engineer

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. A certificate in IT (e.g., ITIL) is an advantage and proficiency in English and Arabic is required.Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support or any other relevant role.Prior experience in a similar scale organization is preferred (80-200 employees.Job Summary:Responsible for ensuring employees can work efficiently with minimal IT disruptions by resolving daily IT issues, setting up new devices, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, supporting tech tools like email and printers, writing user guides, and creating IT status reports.Technical Roles:● Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to employees as and when needed within the Company and its premises.● Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.● Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices, including computers, mobile devices, and peripherals and support tech tools such as email systems, printers, and collaboration software.● Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance tasks and ensure all IT equipment is in optimal working condition.● Receive and prioritize support requests and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or external support when necessary.● Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution ensuring proper documentation.● Support in developing comprehensive documentation for IT procedures and systems in line with best practices.● Develop user guides and how-to manuals for employees that would help employees in the utilization of IT equipment/systems/platforms.● Generate regular reports on the status and performance of current IT systems/equipment/tools based on incidents, feedback, and conducted assessment.● Implement new IT recommendations and enhancements to support in enhancing the functionality of technological-related items and ensure business continuity.● Keep abreast with latest IT solutions that could be potentially leveraged within Company's operations.● Document, update and maintain accurate records of IT related procedures, processes, user guides, assets, and configurations.● Implementing and maintaining all IT-owned applications, ensuring they are up to date.● Maintained the vendor management system for application support, procurement, and software licenses, ensuring contract compliance and cost efficiency.● Engineered and maintained IT infrastructure, including machines, systems, and servers, and coordinated IT projects● Managing user data across all applications and mitigating security risks at both the user and application levels.● Creating automated workflows to reduce IT workload based on functional requirements and requests
